About

Built by a video editor, for video editors.

ContentWorkflow started as a spreadsheet. Then a spreadsheet plus a review tool, plus three scheduling tabs, plus a folder of client exports nobody could find. It became an app because that stack stopped working somewhere around the fourth client.

Why it exists

Software for content production is usually built by people who have never had to deliver a cut on a deadline.

Most tools in this space are either project managers that know nothing about video, or social schedulers that know nothing about the work that happens before a post exists. So the job gets split across both, and the spreadsheet quietly becomes the only place that knows the whole picture.

That spreadsheet is where this started. It tracked which client a video belonged to, which cut was current, who still owed feedback, what was scheduled and what had actually performed. It worked right up until it didn't.

ContentWorkflow is that spreadsheet rebuilt as software that understands what a video is: something with versions, feedback pinned to timestamps, several destinations, and numbers that only mean something once you can compare them.

It is still built by one person who edits video, which is the reason it stays narrow. There is no roadmap driven by enterprise deals, and no feature here that its author does not use.

What it believes

Four decisions that shaped everything else.

One place, not five tabs

The sheet, the review link, the scheduling tool and the analytics dashboard were four different products describing the same video. They should have been one screen.

Built from the work, not from a roadmap

Every feature here exists because a real video needed it. Nothing was added because a competitor had it or because it demoed well.

Opinionated about the pipeline

Ideas through Archive is a fixed set of stages, on purpose. Infinitely configurable tools make you design your process before you can use them.

Your accounts stay yours

Connected social tokens are encrypted at rest and nothing is ever posted that you did not explicitly schedule or publish yourself.

What it isn't

Being clear about this saves everyone a refund.

Not a team suite

It is a single-operator workspace. There are no seats to buy, no teammates to invite, and no client logins.

Not an editor

You cut in Premiere or Resolve. This handles everything that happens around the cut, not the cut itself.

Not a growth hack

No engagement pods, no bought followers, no posting to accounts you did not connect. Publishing uses each platform's official API.
