The parts of editing that aren't editing
None of this is craft. It's admin that grew around the craft, and it's where the hours actually go.
Feedback arrives in four places
A voice note on WhatsApp, a comment on the Drive link, a text at 1am, a change mentioned on a call. None of it is attached to the frame it refers to.
final_v3_REAL.mp4
Three exports in the same folder and no reliable answer to which one the client actually saw, or what changed between them.
Approval is a chase
A cut sits in someone's inbox for four days and the only way to find out is to ask again. Nothing tells you what is stuck.
The same video, posted three times
Download, re-upload, retype the caption, fix the hashtags, pick a thumbnail — once per platform, for every video.
Client review that happens on the frame
The review tool and the file are the same thing here. A cut, a player, and comments that know what second they belong to.
- 1
Upload the cut
It becomes v1 on the content's Review tab, with a player and a clickable timeline. The client watches it where the notes go.
- 2
Notes land on the timestamp
Every comment is pinned to the moment it refers to. Click it, the player jumps there. No more “around the middle, after the b-roll”.
- 3
Resolve and re-upload
Tick off what you fixed, filter to what's left, then upload v2. Versions sit side by side and comments stay attached to the cut they were made on.
Comments can be resolved, unresolved and filtered to the unresolved ones, so “what's left on this cut” is a list rather than a re-read of a chat thread.
One queue for every cut you owe
Every video you have in flight, grouped by stage — Ideas through Published — instead of scattered across folders, a to-do app and your memory.
Board, list or calendar
The same queue three ways. Drag a card from Editing to Review, collapse the stages you're not working today, and deep-link the view you live in.
Dates that mean something
Deadline, recording date, review date and publish date all land on the calendar. Drag an event to reschedule it.
Search and filter to one client
Title search plus client and project filters, remembered between visits — so a queue of forty videos becomes the six you owe today.
Cut once, publish everywhere
The export is already in the app, so posting it is a form, not a file transfer.
Five targets, one video
Publish now or schedule a date and time per platform:
- TikTok
- Instagram Reels
- Instagram Post
- YouTube Shorts
- YouTube long-form
Per-platform, without the retyping
Each target keeps its own caption, hashtags, thumbnail and publish time. Failed uploads retry automatically and tell you when they've given up, so a dead Wi-Fi connection at 3pm doesn't become a missed post.
Videos you published before you started using the app can be linked platform-by-platform, so your history and analytics aren't split down the middle.
The rest of the editor's day
Files, references and results, in the same workspace as the work. The full ContentWorkflow overview covers everything else.
Every file where you expect it
A media library across every client, project and cut: search, filter by type, sort by size, preview inline — and see exactly what's eating your storage.
An inbox for references
Share a link or a clip from your phone straight into the app, add a note, and turn the good ones into content items in one click.
Proof the edit worked
Views, retention, average watch time and best-performing hooks sync automatically from the platforms you published to. No spreadsheet to maintain.
